Join Community Health Voices: the people and communities advisory group for NHS Kent and Medway

Are you passionate about making a difference in health and care across Kent and Medway? Do you want to ensure diverse voices are heard in key decisions that affect our communities?

We are seeking community champions, advocates, and individuals with lived experience to join our new independent advisory panel that will help shape how the NHS listens to and learns from people across Kent and Medway.


We are looking for

✔ Citizens from across Kent and Medway

✔ People with lived experience of health and care services

✔ Family carers, young people

✔ Representatives of diverse communities

✔ Community advocates


What we need from you:

✔ A commitment to making a difference

✔ A strong understanding of your community and wider networks

✔ An ability to look at information gathered from different people, patients and communities

✔ To attend four 3-hour meetings a year, with at least two per year in person

✔ An open mind and a passion for inclusion


Bali Rodgers, People and Communities Champion will chair the group.


All travel expenses will be reimbursed and we are looking to recognise the time spent by volunteers who take part in the group.
