Children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing
We need to improve the support available to children and young people for their mental health and emotional wellbeing in Kent and Medway. We commissioned an independent review of existing evidence from children, young people and their families who have shared their experiences of services, and their views on the care and how to improve services. We have also engaged with children, young people, staff, stakeholders, clinicians and organisations providing services over the last year to discover their views on the challenges residents face and how the services could work together to improve care. Our surveys were open from 18 August 2023 and closed on 1st November 2023. Thank you for your comments and thoughts.
Please watch our video animation to find out what you told us and our early ideas for an innovative approach for children and young people's mental health support. |
